A Poem by schanzilla
"

i dunno; sometimes i just like the way words bounce off each other, even if it comes across as complete gibberish. oh well. enjoy.

"

it's just a thought, but

stubble burn treble like the lower case alphabet

was it weeks ago or maybe later?

where's tomorrow?

now it's inconsequential

when i skinny boy pose on plaid hammock

now she scratch me off like nickel on asphalt

cage me so fly like the needle hit the beetle in the cockroach drummin'

maybe what the word was

slippin' off the lip like a transient rollin' toward the next best thing

she

     come

             in

like the lesser summer months

all easy and freeze framed

bent like tent stakes from the ground up

reach outward like a sun backed cross and shines at the fender

and i sit

           down

hill overlooks the water

and i'm the earth beneath me out to the farthest panoramic point

down to its last molecular singularity

i'm photographic elemental memory

now i'm amazing; yeah, i'm no such thing

like i'm understated every day

she grows pretty flowers between cracks in the sidewalk

harder than that but the ones she tries to magnify

as unmistakable as Dylan or Coltrane

i'm awed and flawed but she digs it, yeah

Your writing kicks a*s, but I think I've said that before lol Seriously, I love the way it flows like its straight out of your head with no revising. Its like diving into words for brief heady moments.
