A Poem by schanzilla

i gots my chili

get some cheese on that?

like i distract you with vocabulary

alcohol for capillaries

delay my sleep, my quick to speak

my quick to say anything moronic

let's have a smoke on the steps out front

watching traffic at twilight

near the only stop sign in town

pretty rocks, paint by numbers chaos

like confusion

guess your anything

i'm not that good at this game

in my one wrecked winter i stood immortal, colored, cornered

implosive as a dying breath

like a sketch of your face

unsteady penmanship, a stare that ain't quite right

makes you look

unaffected?

my dumbass mouth, my all out drunken stupid

makes you look

like an angel

or an idiot

still i spit out rhymes sometimes

watch them slant like your smirk

and swerve like the curve of your hipbones

or an effortless twist of your lips

in a soft kiss

like a sunrise to be

complacent and patient

like it's got all day and so do we

I love your fast pace and your descriptions. Brilliant as always!
