A Poem by schanzilla

better make it a snapped limb

       remember that

maybe i was the laugh track and that's that

maybe words were the world and i kept quiet

broken down nothing wanna get in the ring

wanna see what i mean when i mean what i see

city lights and harbour sounds

a small sea in the pint glass north

a girl here looks exactly like Natalie Portman in real life

and uptempo elegies

       you were the rhythm

              were the caught wave

                     were the everything

and all idealists aside

little letters, neatly printed and passed on

declarations and frame to frame dramas

where's my deleted scene?

i think you already know the answer to that
