Transformation

I decided to go a different direction with this one and tell a little bit about the most difficult time in my life so far.

 

The transformation of my life as I knew it

Everything happened so fast and I wasn’t expecting it one bit

The fall of one of God’s children really took a toll on me

There were many different happier places I would rather be

The misunderstanding of the revelation of my life’s truth

Was something I never thought about in my youth

SO naive young folks need take heed

Respect your parents while you have them is the creed

I was thrown into a roll I had never contemplated

I think every single day that God could have waited

Waited to take my one solid rock from my life

Leaving this new transformation for me full of turmoil and strife

Having to improvise on so many things because my rock is not here to help

Knowing that transformation means playing the hand you are dealt

Praying for strength everyday to help me get through this untimely transformation

Knowing I have to keep barreling forward without hesitation

Stepping in to honor the wishes of God’s soldier he called home

Making sure I do what she says and making my strength well known

There isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t ask God for strength and assistance

I had no idea this unreal transformation would require so much persistence
