So I Loved Her

So I Loved Her

A Poem by jim rupert
"

Not really a poem but a profession of a missed lover

"
I wanted to kiss her she seemed so far away, so I blew  the kiss into the wind and said the words " may my love be blessed with my honoring kisses" and with the subtle passing of each breeze my lips were quenched. I wanted to touch her she seemed so far away, so I sqeezed the air with all my might and with each passing breath I took I could feel the warmth of of her embrace fill my arms and calm my heart. I wanted to see her she seemed so far away, so I looked to the stars with all their brilliance and could see the beauty of her smile and radiance of her glow shine through with each shooting star. I wanted to smell her she seemed so far away, so I breathed deeply of the flower in bloom and was reminded of the sweet smell of her body distinct and exciting filling my nostrils with happiness. I wanted to hear her she seemed so far away, so I went to the edge of the ocean and listened closely to the crashing of the waves as she whispered sweet nothings to me. I wanted to love her she seemed so far away, so I loved her and honored her as long as the wind blew, the stars shone, the flowers bloomed and the ocean kept whispering sweet nothings. So I Loved Her
