Emergence of inconsistent thought

Emergence of inconsistent thought

A Poem by vindictivesunshine

In a hurried breath you met me,

words stumbling over teeth and tongue.

Wrong assumptions and foolish choices,

former future vices.

It was at the eleventh hour that I pressed purpose to paper,

life to come undone.

Lost in the dimensions of you, if only in actuality.

A glance at a yellow bird grants me a still life view

of a missed chance.

I re-adjust my sights to the missiles.

U know you are brilliant. The eyes you use to see the world are perhaps not just skin deep. Maybe as deep as the soul itself. But never just skin deep... There are writers... then there are geniuses. That you are my friend.

Lesser poets could ramble on for dozens of lines and still not spill the seed as effectively as you have done here . . .

this might be your least abstract one so far, but the overall effect remains the same as all the others...

How do you do it? Your words tease, evoke, affect and transform emotions. They destroy the boundaries of our feeble mind. They open the senses of our minds to see beyond the monotonousness of life.

I'm the jagged pill you thought you'd never take and maybe your great mistake. I'm your 1 true fear. But really i'm a simple guy on the verge of adulthood enjoying spilling this ink trickling from bra.. more..
