Embraced by the light of new moon, She stood still, drums in cadence within her chest, And you, staring at her shadowed eyes, Pulled by the invisible strings That glimmered on her lashes, Leaning in to touch her face with your trembling hands, Breathing in the scent of her cascading hair, Your breath hot upon her cheek, Voiceless words telling her that All your defenses had been broken away, No longer can you resist…
So the rest of the world rushed by, And the gravity of love fell down Like flightless angels on cascading rain Guarding every second of this phenomenon. The rhythm of your arteries pulsating In time with her every heartbeat, You hunger for the heat of her blood, Your lips, silent and delicate upon her neck, She closes her eyes and breathes…
Eclipsed by the raging starlight, You lay down beside her, ardently touching her hand, And she, taking hold of your embrace, Her hands cold and gentle against your flesh, Her eyes set aflame as they ignite your soul, Her lips subtly taking in all of your strength, The warmth of your presence Became the comfort in her strangeness. And as you looked so beautifully into her eyes, Soundless lullabies resonated, telling her That through eons of twilights and sunrises, She belongs with you…
I like this... It reminds me a lot of 'Twilight' as though you're explaining what Edward was feeling for Bella. How novel the idea of an eternal creature that survives on the life of others and their own strength to fall in love with a mere mortal girl... It's like fire falling for a snowflake. When everything you're built to be is meant to destroy the thing you love the most.

You seem to have an affinity with some phrases: "drums in cadence", "flightless angels", "arteries pulsating", "raging starlight", etc. I wonder what's with them? Imagery? I'm already thinking they are of significance to you. :D
I like this a lot especially with all of the moon and sun references. This poem gives a sensation when reading like the actions in the poem are really happening to the reader. Great write.
