Comfort Zone

Comfort Zone

A Poem by Maxinne Marie
"

This is the feeling... when I performed as a lead vocalist in our band, sang Paramore's Decode, rocked out in front of the whole College of Nursing people.

"

Rushed to the spotlight

Breathing in the mist

Caught up in the twilight

Your scent in the breeze

Arteries pulsating

To the beat of the drums

Anticipating

What's yet to come

Enjoyed the silence

In the midst of the noise

Felt the heat of the moment

With the sound of my voice

Taking hold of this passion

I'm ready to fall

Out of my comfort zone

And into your soul

Comfort zone is a good choice of title.
Nevertheless, you have made me follow your anxiety, as I were with you at that moment, not entirely but I guess you're comfort zone must've been really tested.

First times can always be intriguing, and blogging it or perhaps making a remembrance in the form of poetry is more likely prejudicial but not like other people in terms of keeping a word-for-word, very girly paraphrase inside a keeping notebook (diary); I think you have grown much from being a teenager. KUDOS.
