The other night

This is a poem that i wrote, along with quite a few others, shortly after i found out about my parents separation.

Confusion

Utterly insane confusion

Confusion that is tearing me down

Making me utterly insane

Erges

Temptation

These emotions plus many more are ripping

Ripping through my mind

My body

Like a time traveler

Zooming through the time-space continuum

Numbness

Unbelievably

Uncontrollably

Unconditionally

Numb beyond words

Hurt

The hurt is unbearable

Pain

The agonizing pain

As it turns to pure fiery rage

Rage

So fiery

So intense

So pure that I can no longer control

So much that it is boiling inside of me

As I feel myself loosing control

As the blackness flies around my eyes

Like bees hovering around honeycomb

All of these emotions

Confusion

Erges

Temptation

Numbness

Hurt

Pain

All of these

They turn into a fiery rage

That I can not control

And it's all because

Because of that one little thing

That I heard you say

The other night

Wow...found this quite powerful, especially with the end (the last three lines) being the reason. Hints of inevitable consequences that make the mind race like a thoroughbred!
