Uprising to Greatness

Uprising to Greatness

A Poem by RebeccaRose
"

Self growth, learning from your mistakes, maturing, positive change.

"
I have come thus far,
And I've seen so much.
I made my life hard,
And grew up in a rush.

I treated life as a joy ride,
And now I'm treading debt.
I chose myself to be my guide,
Incinerating the safety net.

Making the best of bad scenario,
Was not my idea of a life.
Attracted to the Lothario,
Resulting in constant strife.

Far from my nightmarish past,
And confronting hard truths.
My uprising may not be fast,
But my downfall is old news.

Has the sound of one on the upward path after years of struggle. Life's lessons can be tough, but they're priceless if they're learned well. But tell me, what is streiff?
