Realistic views on America in 2020

I'm scared to be white
I'm scared to have faith
I believe in what's right
But it's hard to be brave

Tables have turned

I am not built with brawn
Nor am I the biggest brain
Where has the country gone?
Who do we blame?

The reality is

Looters and riots in the streets
Scripted mass fake news
Political cheating and deceit
Covid and cabin fever blues

I refuse to apologize

For being informed and cautious
When I am fighting for the truth
To monsters who inhabit an office
Because I'm right and have proof
