You Can Kill Me, You knowA Poem by RebeccaRoseThe pain of love is real.
Crackle-crick-crackle.
Heart made of spackle, Each serrated word, A bone-crushing tackle. Tick-trick, tick-trick, tick-trick. Thin cracks swiftly scatter. Situation escalating too quick. Interior mechanics shatter. Boom, crash, crumble. Gouged, trampled, slowly dying. Holding the wound, I stumble. Bleeding out, can't cease trying. Bu-Bump, Bu-bump....Bu-Bump.....Bu-bump. Vision blurring, fading to no sight. I didn't fall in love, I chose to jump. I still love you; you know that, right? © 2017 RebeccaRoseReviews
