Me libérerA Poem by Scarlet M.He loved her best like rain with droplets of symphony,
smoothly, his sweet words fall on her. He loved her now less, like a storm, a raging
torrent, carrying her away against her will. Chances she has given, and for granted, he took now she pleads, in her miserable state, twice it happened, and still he got off the hook. Devastated and in ruin, comes a sun, bright and hopeful he was who blew all her stormy clouds away; he treated her better than he ever did, now
enthralled so much he wished to be more than just a confidant. To love and be hurt and be loved to hurt. It was no easy decision to make and that she knew; how can one ever decide to let go of a person she had set her heart on? Tormented and loved, cherished and loved. To have both or to lose both? Which side will she have to run to, a question she had asked herself again and again and yet she already knew, that this was a love that was long-overdue. © 2016 Scarlet M.Reviews
