Best Love

How would react if your bestfriend suddenly proposed a marriage? Say no cause you don't love him? Or say yes so he won't get hurt?

The park where Andy and Joseph used to go to during their highschool days was still the same after almost 5 years. They walked following the brick road and exchanging glances everytime the looked into each other.

They had been the best of friends since Joseph comforted Andy at her first heartbreak during their first year in highschool. They had started communicating every now and then, Joseph even thought they were soulmates. This thought went deeper as well as his feelings for her as they spent time during life's challenges and school affairs.

They sat beside the fountain and Andy was very happy just looking at it.

"Just like when we were in highschool. We should also visit the school Joseph."

It was the first time they went back to their hometown after their highschool graduation.

Joseph stared at Andy like there was nothing else around him. Realizing Joseph wasn't paying attention on what she was saying, Andy pinched Joseph at the shoulder.

"Hey! Your not even listening."

"I'm sorry. I can't help it. We have been friends for five years. It is still overwhelming everytime you call me best friend. Through all these years I can really say that you are the best person I have ever met. I also believe that we really were destined to be with each other."

Andy's confusion was very evident in the way she looked at Joseph. Joseph put his hand inside his jacket's right pocket and showed her a silver ring with diamond stone.

"I know this is really sudden but for five years there is only one person that I love this much. Andy will you marry me?"

People started gathering around them and Andy was still speechless thinking,

"His my bestfriend, the person who's always there for me in every trial and success. How can I say no he is my BESTFRIEND..."
