Enigmatic Turtle

I wrote it for someone very special. :) It is a gift for his birthday.

Captivated by a young man's image,
An image of strength,
An image of melancholy,
An image of innocence,
An image of sensibility.


The strength that overpowers all doubt,
The strength that breaks down one's core,
The strength that changes one's pace,
The strength that captures one's self-strength,
Either to strengthen or to destroy.


The melancholy reflected in his eyes,
The melancholy that leaves you wondering why?
The melancholy in his unchained words,
The melancholy that seems to exist within him,
But can never exist if you dare to you look right through him.


The innocence in his genuine smiles,
The innocence in his child-hearted ways,
The innocence that he selfishly displays,
That one simple selfishness that unlocks ambivalence.


The sensibility that freezes a warm soul,
The sensibility that crushes the ego of the coldest heart,
The sensibility that tries to protect, Everything from above his darkest sky,
To everything below the rough ocean's waves.


Bemused by the presence of this indefinable entity.
Like being trapped in a labyrinth of mirrors without exit.
A beautiful enigma in the wilderness,
A human in an inhuman body,
Strongest at his weakest,
Weakest at his strongest.
A strange question without definite answer,
A dilemma in the most insane world.


In the midst of all things fraudulent,
There is a young man with an image of all things great,
Balanced by the presence of undeniable wickedness.
However he is viewed or defined,
No matter how much changes must he face to survive,
There is a heart in him that will always be true,
A heart of a young man that I believe to never fail to make fall in love too.
