Time and time again

Time and time again

A Poem by Shui
"

I remember writing this after a really terrible day at school. And I hope no one ever feels this way xx

"

6, cold. You see the world twirl, you see many things. But nothing breathes.

7, new things. You see hope and you want to see light. The sky is dark and the rain falls relentlessly.

8, silence. There is finally interaction - between the pen, the paper and the table. It is undoubtedly, your favourite time of the day.

9, those eyes you try to avoid. In his you find disdain, in yours, only a bottomless pit.

10, the rain stops. The sky a same tint as your soul.

11, not all who wander are lost. An anomaly

12, truths you furiously seek. Her perception is your deception.

13, a room saturated with words and thoughts {mindless or not} is a place you find solace

14, he doesn’t haunt you, she doesn’t haunt you. You haunt yourself

15, those eyes again; that killer smile. You withdraw. No one’s hurting you

16, convolution. Brevity works its way across. Sleep avoids you like the plague.

17, “I hate hated words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right.” (The Book Thief, Markus Zusak)

18, internal infernal.
