Final ThoughtA Poem by S.A BeachSomething I dabbled with a few years ago.
This is for the world That once was For all that were slain In that final battle That determined the fate Of our lonely race Now forced to live in fear As we hide from them Times are hard now Our race is thinning out Food is scarce The ocean runs black As the world we know Slowly dies with us The creatures relish in pleasure That they get from our pain My end is near I write this with The final thought I never had. -Steven Beach © 2009 S.A Beach |
