Deliverance

Deliverance

A Poem by sayed Mudasir Ali

When the freedom knocked on my door?
My frozen wings were unfrozen by the lonely air.

When the tired sun looked upon my shoulder
All the seas and birds snatched my fear

When the birds came back from the last sky
The river diverted its attention into my eyes

The reflection of my beloved have exposed all my veils
In that desperate urgency, my dreams will now sail.

At a certain point you lost me; when you were angry?
I needed you now to let you know that I am hungry.

Mad heart be brave! Where will you go now?
May be there is no place to roam?
Or! Maybe all the butterflies have gone
To fly high in the invisible sky.
May be the shadow has fallen in my story
Let me search every shadow tonight

The trees blow the solitary breeze as I chased the stirred
Still sky from horizon to horizon; to trace my lonely girl
In this foggy cosmic world, where even then no one returns
And disappears to the unknown world known to none.

Among the thousands dirty queen, I have yet to discover my
Fairy queen to perfect my dead art now from decades it’s perpetually
Silenced and buried beneath those ruby stones.

All these years I have walked upon this tidy shore
And it still roars in me to fill my emptiness.

Every single night is parted in memories, but tonight
The moon is fair to  far off places,
May be the sun will not rise after the sunrise
Even this night will stay ever " long.
