INTERVALS TILL DEATH COMES

INTERVALS TILL DEATH COMES

A Poem by sayed Mudasir Ali

Beneath the stairs!  Eyes forever closed.
To the ever long  pain, your song finally ends
On my unfinished note of violin that hurts.
But in my sense of urgency . Am I still wake?
As life and death paroled you from time.
If there is anything left to remember -----Patience

The words tumble and fumble beyond frame
Shall I salute or tribute on your death?
All I can do is to regret for you always
Far From you, I dug my own grave of silence
So I could never hear that you’re gone.
If there is anything left to consider------Renunciation

The dazzling noise of that stove still echoes
Within me like the layers of nostalgia.
Ruthless world with endless illusions; Why?
Blocks on your bridge; no boat to escape
From the final train of your invisible visitor
If there is anything left to subscribe --------Farewell
