It was just one starlit night in June.

Two souls walked the mellowed aura of the moon.

 

And that was it.

A life was brewed.

The leaves were falling,

And moments were few.

 

I held his hand.

And closed my eyes.

He spoke in silence,

Murmuring teary lies.

 

We promised each other,

The Elixir of Life.

Now there is only me

Alone

Still waiting for the love

That one night has strewn my soul alive.
