I Once WasA Poem by DarcyI once was a dreamer all those years ago, but reality took my childhood; it stole it with a laugh and didn't give it back.
I once was opptimist, until I found the truth; that there is only room for pessimism in this world.
I once was a loud mouth, since though I've quieted down; being the meek thoughtful one is the only way to go
I once was narrowminded, but now my mind is open; I see things baised people fail to grasp with their critiqueing eyes.
I once was a child, now I have grown; I'm a lost new adolescent not know what way to go.
