La la land

La la land

A Poem by Darcy
"

My teacher always asked if i was in Lala land this is my description of it

"

At the end of the day

with the sun yet to set;

singing with the wind

and laughing amongst the trees,

You look at the horizon

glowing with heat;

while imagining little men

dancing round in the yard,

The magic of twilight

has taken you for sure;

your mind is now elsewhere

with the birds and the bees,

This fairytale land is yet

to go to waste; so long as you

pretend its there

in its place among the magic,

Along with your friends

the prince and his royalty;

you gallop away on

his handsome white stallion,

When you come back

to this reality of earth;

the moon is dominant

among the stars,

Lounging in the grass

you once again return;

to that fairyland land

with its magical life.
