Dawn

Dawn

A Poem by Darcy

The eastern horizon is slowly becoming more clear

as the sun is rising I realize it's always been there

The sun is coming up blinding my eyes

with a light so bright with hope

The western horizon is forgotten once again

untill the night robs the day once more

The lights on the houses switch off

as darkness surrenders

The sound of the morning is just as it should be

crisp, cool, clear, and concise

Ian
It's short but I liked it anyway,
I think it's a little sad, it's really good.

Good job! ;)

About
I'm 14 year old girl, and I would like comments on how to make my work better, I write a lot of poems because they come easiest, they flow from me randomly, sometimes I don't even know what they mean more..
