Flowers.

Flowers.

A Poem by Sere

I wrote this in 5 minutes. Please give me any feedback you can!

"

Flowers don't bloom in winter,

They wilt away.

Some adapt, never once falter

Yet I fade and decay.

My petals fall,

My stem breaks.

Into the snow there is nothing at all.

Just small flakes,

Cold, they make me numb.

A feeling of nothing,

Yet the pain that I started with.

My body freezing,

Already I've lost all my strength.

Hopelessly, I cling to the feeling of being alive.

It's painful, yet raw, leaving the thoughts at bay.

When summer comes the feeling of survival,

Happens to be all that stays.
