I know, I've written alot before
But now, when the ideas are gone
Time for something that comes from the inside

Mommy, this is my confession
No matter what I did, you still showed me affection
Passing down what you knew to me, mother son chain reaction
But I never showed you my full appreciation
For standing by me no matter what was my action
I was selfish to only think of my own satisfaction
Hope it's not too late for me to undo the subtraction
Paying back my debts to you in this uneven equation

So this verse is for you, my dedication.

These words are being born from a broken heart
Not just love, a mother's love is always the main part
As I was packing my bags preparing to depart
Memory of how you taught me to draw and paint the art
All your effort for an only child, hoping he'll turn out smart
Sometimes I just wish in life I could hit restart
Give mommy a hug everyday, bless her heart

Your kid was playful, so he lived on the edge
Drugs, sex, money was mainly the life of his college
Forgetting all the lessons, Ignoring all the knowledge
Passed down by you, betraying his own pledge

I can't write much now, been lost in life
Lost for emotions, lost for words, no passion to strive
Recalling how you rushed over to see me when I went under the knife
The moment I opened my eyes from surgery
First thing I saw was dear mommy
Everything mommy did, it was for me
That warms my heart to a thousand degree

Hope my words are able to scream out loud
How I want to do you proud
Mommy is not here right now, So I see her in every cloud
Always believe an outcast like me would standout from the crowd
I'll clean up myself and make you proud
This is a promise, savior vowed.
