Lonely bird flying across the skies
Funny how feelings go from high to low
Top of the world punished down to pain and sorrow

I gave my best,
Is it wrong to have expectations from you
Disappointment causes the pain within my chest
I guess people never react the way we want them to
Take this situation
When you love someone, you give with no hesitation
Down in life, they won't notice you and walk past
The one you love, are the ones pouring salt in your downcast

Not a call before I call
Only need me when you need me
I don't ask you out, you don't even wana see me
Treat me like I'm some disposable meat
Everyone's selfish in this world, you ain't no different
How can I feel so discontent from someone so sweet
It's true, high expectations caused this discontent

Nobody knows how life turns out
Take what you have and what your about
Do what you need to pick yourself up
No one's gona be there forever throughout
I can life with you or without
Don't say that I'm not good enough for you
If you can't appreciate me, you don't deserve me without a doubt
You taught me a lesson, now I choose the better route

I ain't afraid of losing you
At the end of the day, I just want to be loved too
Life is like a workout
Stronger after each rejection
Immunity after each infection
Correction for each imperfection
Savior, I see you and I have a good connection
I feel a little affection
And I see a little erection
Why don't we fall into each others passion section

Hope we can be together forever like a collection

Onto some other stuff, free as the birds
So this is what I have to say
In life, never let anyone tell you how to live your day
Not everyone will appreciate you for you, that's the way
So appreciate you for who you are, that sounds cliche
But life is about you, not about they
You are beautiful, and you are perfectly okay.

Very emotional. You seemed very passionate about this particular piece. To me it sounds like the typical teenage 'love' drama. Having lived through that myself many time I know that its no fun when your going through it, but like you said you get better after everything you go through. I never regret what I've been through because pain yields strength and understanding in the end. Nicely done!
