The Love Inside

The Love Inside

A Poem by Saving Grace
"

i think its the cutest thing I've ever written considering all my other stuff is kinda dark...

"

Love is deep in me.

Softly playing, softly dancing

In my heart.

Ba boom ba boom

You came today,

Into my life

And without a moments notice

love came to sing and dance and play.

But, softly, no! Not that way.

Love came up and loud and clear,

Ba Boom Ba Boom!

Right in my ear.

I said, “Love please! Settle down!”

But, you slowly turned around.

Like you could hear my inner thought

And just like that, love took off.

Circling, screaming, stomping through

My whole body and out to you.

I'd say you saw it but it can't be true.

A simple 'hi' with love shinning through.

Not one word you said to me

For love had grabbed you by the sleeve.

And pulled you right in front of me

To plant a kiss right on my cheek.

And love more loudly than before,

BA BOOM BA BOOM!

Had me wanting more.
