Last Sight Through Sore Eyes

Last Sight Through Sore Eyes

A Poem by Saving Grace
"

farewell world!

"

I died right here, you carried me home.

Laid me on the front porch like nothing was wrong.

Walk away empty no care in your eyes.

Can't even show your love in a tearful goodbye.

You'll never know that, the last thing I saw,

One broken vision, one flash and that's all.

But the thing I remember, while life slipped away.

Was the love poured out of me, left alone to this day.

You must be so cold, to be so unmoved.

Your locked in yourself with nothing to do.

Always had a plan that never will change

No one can save you, your too stubborn to save.

I tried to this day, to just make you see.

That compared to my life, yous till meant more to me.

And my purpose was clear, you had to have known

I gave up my everything so my love would be shown.

And even now as I'm suffocated by black

You stand there emotionless and turn your back.

I thought I could do it, change how you feel,

about your whole life, and shoe you what's real.

So that last thing I saw, the most horrible thing.

The look in your eyes, killed my everything.

But I know that you heard me the words I left on your mind

“I love you my dear, and I'll see you in time.”

And that was the end, couldn't go on anymore.

Didn't see your reaction, so the tears will still pour.
