What You've DoneA Poem by Saving Grace
Always seeing though me, ignoring I'm in pain. I can't believe I loved you. Now, I'm so ashamed. Your burning, searing, promises burn out within the night. I was always left with nothing, except the urge to fight. I wanted to bring you down with me, let you feel the pain too, And when you dug in deeper that's exactly what I'd try to do. There is no excuse now, for what you did to me. You'll never understand it. Your just too blind to see. Your heart runs on simple pleasure, your soul runs on all the lies. This is how you live each day, seeing no problems through those eyes. What you did was painful. Believe me, I would know, And no matter how much time passes, I refuse to let it go. © 2008 Saving Grace |
