Worn, Faded, and Turned to Ash

Worn, Faded, and Turned to Ash

A Poem by Saving Grace

For all that destroys us,

I know not what to do.

This darkness has a part of me

That I've always seen in you.

So, promise me forever,

Remind me that I'm real.

The wind steals my words from me,

And I forget to feel.

What's left of my soul has vanished.

I can feel it dieing slow.

Though I took so much from you,

I refuse to let you go.

Partake in memories glamorous,

Your the glitter that shall fade.

What's left will reflect tragedy,

Years of sorrow that I've made.
