the other peice of my heart

the other peice of my heart

A Poem by Saving Grace
"

this is about my daughter

"

The night belongs to us.

We must set it free.

I carry you in my arms

And we dance among the trees.

We sing the song of memories

And sing on clouds up high.

But never do we miss it,

The sun as it starts to rise.

Glamorous and beautiful,

Your smile breeds my love.

Peace within a child's eyes

Helps me rise above.

This is such a beautiful piece - I really feel that you have captured a wonderful moment here.
This poem is really well written. I love your use of imagery - it gives the poem its sense of beauty. I like your combination of night and nature - and your choice to make it somewhere these two lovers can be free together!
Congrats on this write.
