not alone

not alone

A Poem by Saving Grace

Rebel respect me I'm all that you've got.

The rest have abandoned your coke and your pot.

They say your illicit, improper, a mess.

Squeeze my veins dry, I need to compress.

Made my mistakes and I can't take them back.

This lonely discourse shows me what I lack.

I'll just stay quiet and walk by your side.

Take your advantage I'm only here for the ride.

Not a chance, not a prayer.

I only love you to drowned out my fear.

I feel so lonely, I feel so scared.

So, I stand beside you, my empty disappears.

Something so feudal, can't make a good stance.

Can't fault the lonely for taking a chance.

I want to leave, but I can't walk alone.

Take me to a place where I'll be unknown.

Slippery footsteps approaching at last.

You can't continue, loose you to my past.

I saw it coming from the very stat.

I figured you'd see that you don't have my heart.

Check in the cupboards and under the rug.

I'll leave behind the image of someone in love.

When fear takes over, i die on my own.

Don't blame yourself, my escape, not alone.
