Hold Nothing Back

Hold Nothing Back

A Poem by Saving Grace

Choke on your misery, tie me up in a knot.

Have you ever chanced everything you've got?

Lonely walking loosing soul.

Pay your debt at the stranded toll.

It costs ten bucks to get to heaven and a nickel to get to hell.

I guess it all depends on what your willing to sell.

Paste my picture under happy and spread your virus lie.

Set me on fire and dance in circles while I cry.

This empty has forsaken me as I gain all that you lack.

It's sad that I loose everything and still get nothing back.

This is just a feeling I choose to repress.

And when my heart explodes I'll sew it back into my chest.

You finally broke my spirit

This is where my given up soul lies.

For some reason I'm the only on who thinks it's funny that I've died.

Chase me through this nightmare and on the other side.

We will have to pick between our love and pride.

Make a masterpiece upon me as I burst into flames.

And on my burning tongue I'll scream all I have to blame.

Better lost that forgotten,

Collapse though thirty floors.

Trapped inside a maze that has more walls that doors.

You want to come and save me this limbo I reside in,

But is it worth returning all your good for sin.

I have lost this war to myself and I wonder what I'll become.

Right now all I'm certain of is that I'm going numb.

Let it be, this twilight horizon. I search for everlasting peace of mind.

Realize what your doing before you waste my time.

You have your way and I have mine.

So why do we push each other over the line?

Make me pick my fate its only another choice

Just ask me where I stand, please before I loose my voice.

"Better lost that forgotten," and "It costs ten bucks to get to heaven and a nickel to get to hell."
So many good statements in the poem. The above two are my favorite. A wild ride in the poem. I like the complete poem. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
