You Will Always Love Her

You Will Always Love Her

A Poem by Savanna Robbins

You feel your face tense up

Because your little sister is being a nuisance

She’s following you, begging to play barbies

She admires you, and loves you greatly

But as a teen, life becomes busy

A lot of pressure sits on your shoulders

Exams, activities, school drama

And she can’t see the burden it is

But please remember, she’s only young once

Soak in this time with her

Because softness is to anger as what rain brings to snow

So think before you yell or act
