Rising up to the challenge

an inspirational poem

Staring into the deep blue sky

I felt as though I could fly

It gave me hope for more to come

And made me smile at the little birds hum

Even on my weakest day

Nature gives me the power to say

I am ok I just need time

And soon enough I'll make that climb

It's a work in progress, I assure you that

I'll one day swing that bat

A home run very soon

Maybe before the next full moon

Life is a challenge, that is true

That is why some days our skies aren't so blue

Lovely. It is very inspiring and deep. I think it will help the reader be more insightful if you added punctuation in certain spots, but that's my opinion. None-the-less, it's very nice.
