got into a fight with a friend

We were friends for a while

Now that’s simply gone

You lost faith in me and told me to move on

I honestly wonder why

I felt like I shouldn’t even try

Because you weren’t there when I needed you most

And only cared about your troubles

But what about me dear old friend

Is lying, cruelty, and selfishness the new trend?

I feel sad and lonesome recently

And you could care less as far as I can see

That’s ok I’ll remember that for next time

When you need me I won’t help

Because I can no longer hear your yelp
