Oh MinnesotaA Poem by savannahfMinnesota has long winters, and I hate winterIt snows in January, February and April too Oh Minnesota how I really hate you I thought it was Spring you bipolar state You really know how to make a person irate I wish I would have been born someplace warm So that I didn’t have to worry about your spontaneous snow storms
There is shoveling, racking, and mowing too Oh Minnesota how I really hate you I don’t understand your devilish ways And I hate how nice weather never stays You cause more distress than the civil war And you can also be a very big bore
We wear flannels, boots, and rain gear too Oh Minnesota how I really hate you You make us fill our closets with too much variety Even though that isn’t exactly normal society Why don’t you try being tolerable for a change And stop making life a living hell on the range © 2014 savannahf |
