Pondering about 'now'

Today never knows,
What tomorrow will be

Tomorrow never knows,
What another morrow will be

Yet today is so precious,
A today...full of wonders
A today...that holds adventure,
A today....that holds joys,
A today ...that holds pains
A today...that holds many gains
A today....that may be in vain
A today...that makes us smile
On how beautifully mysterious
And mysteriously beautiful
It can be for a while.

Yet this today
Is such a gift
A gift, that bonds us between
What we were
And may be.

I really like thIs. And what you wrote is so true, today is a gift, because you don't know what tomorrow will bring, and what happened yesterday is in the past and you can't change it. So the only you can change is the present, which is today, and how you chose to do so, is up to you. but what you chose to do today might affect the rest of your life.
