I like the way you've crafted this to sound like a conversation that a person might have with him/herself. We often argue with ourselves, expressing the tension between our "upbeat" inner self & the other one who is deeply wounded by so much of life. You've showed us these aspects of how it feels without excess drama . . . stated rather dispassionately, in fact, which I prefer becuz life is what it is. We get dealt the cards we have & sometimes our dramatic responses to life are worse than what has actually been experienced in life. Good advice given gently & with relatable examples (((HUGS)))

Thankyou so much, dear Margie😊
I'm really glad you liked it.

Wonderful and wise words shared.
"Stay calm,
Stay cool,
Don't lose your heart
This too shall pass
This too, shall pass"
I agree with the above lines. Sometimes we must stop and figure what we need. Thank you Saumya for sharing the amazing poetry.

What a beautiful, lifting song moves through your thoughts. And how much we need this encouragement when the night falls and friends and family seem at a distance. This is a vital key to holding onto life, and staying strong even in the shadows and drought the world pours out on us. Thank you for creating a powerful strength for us all to remember. :)

I really loved your poem. I especially like this line; I know it's hard,
I know it's hard
But smiling sometimes
Heals all scars."
But your entire poem spoke to me and I felt the sorrow and the pain but I also felt the need to overcome the pain and sorrow. I've been in a place where all I felt was pain and suffering, but I have found something to latch onto that gives me joy each and every day. I've been deeply depressed for most of my teenage years and I'm 21 now, but now I'm doing better, and I have found something that has given me hope.
So don't give up on hope, for if you do, you'll never be the same person as you once were.

you are so welcome. I hope you have a lovely day xo
Good work. Simplistic with an arc and and idea. Easy to get, and masterfully crafted. Who is my kid? Lol is this a term of endearment or are you referring to an actual child? Lol maybe I will never know.

There are one or two 'corrections'. "So deep these loss" should be "So deep these losses" (?) and " The more the struggles, More is the loss" should be "The more the struggle, The more is the loss." (?) But your English (second language?) is probably slightly different to my English. English does vary in different parts of the world. But the poem itself I thought was lovely. I love the good sound advice from your "voice, not loud nor harsh, That whispers amidst silence." and you write it in a very powerful way. Good read.

Yes, English is my second language, and i agree, that it differs from place to place (I being an Indian, follow Indian English, and I'm sure you might be following British/American English, and there are somewhat different.) I could have changed 'loss" to 'losses' but i feel the meaning of both will ultimately come to be the same with reference to the poem, so i preferred using 'loss' instead of 'losses' which i feel rhymes well too :)
I'm so glad you likes my poem, and it really means a lot when someone compliments about the style in which i write..Thank-you so much for that :)
Oh... sorry, I just had to add this. I am a HUGE geek, and I love Star Trek. With the new movie that came out, Rihanna made a song to go with it, called "Sledgehammer". This reminds me of it, you should totally look it up.
Thank-you for letting me know bout the song, i'll listen it soon, and let you know :)

Okey, Idk if you are religious, but this really tugged at my heart strings. It's like, Christ knows your pain, although no one else does. And he's there for you when you need him, to cheer you on. You said "my kid" in it three times, and I would change those to "my child" because it flows better and is said mor often. Nice read, though!
