This is a poem, which consists the description of the variety types of people we are surrounded with....
Have you keenly seen the people around..? producing diverse effects on your life's canvas each and every moment, with the advent of time.......
Some of them, are like the cool breeze, filling us each time, with optimism and peace..
Some of them, are like the grand trees, ever ready to fill us with their shade and peace....
Some of them, are like the lovely flowers, who always turn your sad face into a smiling flower.... Some of them, are
like the little colorful birds, who meet you only at times but make those moments truly hopeful and divine.......
Some of them, are
like those grand storms, who cannot and never be judged, by any norms... giving sadness in different forms.....
Some of them, are
like those melodious songs having their own zeal and charm.......
And, some of them, cannot be really defined, irritating at times, interesting the other times... optimistic at one time, and a big sadist the other times....... and this is why its always hard, to perceive them every time......!
But whats really amazing here's, that they all leave some, or the other impact on us each time..... So love, respect, and enjoy, everyone's presence around you each time, Because, we don't ever know, that what would their existence teach us one time, and then this same world, looks really fine..!
i am touched and enlightened by your positive vibes here, and i think you create a spark of hope that we all understand one another as sentient, feeling human beings. we are always so quick to judge and/or fear what we don't understand and rather than embrace our hurt feelings or fears we lash out in anger or self defense. i know that i am just as guilty as anyone else of being too wounded by that which should never affect me. i am trying an enlightened path these days....and your words are definitely fuel for continuing on that chosen path. excellent write!
O i enjoyed reading it and you have rightly mentioned each individual has his/her own identity and has different impact on us and the way we take it also depends upon us too.
Again, your goodness shines through. None of us would be who we are without all the others. Some folks don't like onions, but if they aren't in the stew, it wouldn't be as good. I used to say all we are ever worth is each other. I am a little more cynical now, but reading your poems always dulls cynicism's edge.
A nice piece of comparative literature that elicits an important message that life's "canvas" has many colors and even if one color is more appealing than another, the picture wouldn't be complete without the inclusion of all of them. Your style and message are consistent. Keep working on the grammar.
When I saw those colors in 'people', I felt like leaving. I thought the poem would be as cliched as the beginning. But as I proceeded, opposing my thoughts, I found myself intrigued into the idea whether I should keep my initial preoccupations at rest most of the times, because the poem is actually GOOD!
You have used colours, which will not be appreciated by most people around here, as I saw a few reviews on my bonus poem.
But your poem is nice. It has good meaning and strong words. Nice write.
