I Wish

I wish,
everyone on this earth,
be happy..!
I wish,
no one in this world,
be lonely..!
i wish,
everyone on this earth,
gets what they need..!
I wish,
everyone helps the other,
in need..!
i wish,
everyone be away
from greed..!
i wish,
there be no discrimination, on
the basis of cast, color or creed..!

I wish,
everyone is blessed, with
a best friend in need..!
I wish,
no trees ever be, without
leaves...!
I wish,
everyone be gifted, with
eternal peace...!
I wish,
our earth  be enriched,
with greenery...!

i wish,
everything on this earth be, as
it is supposed to be....!
i wish,
every butterfly,
always spreads peace....!
I wish,
the birds always sing,
melodiously.........!


i wish,
our earth be the best place to see,
enriched with,  LOVE, PEACE and HARMONY....!


so that,
one day even when God sees,
he's bound to say.....
"oh, that's heavenly...!!"
this is the best place, i could ever see..
because, here dwells, humanity,
and this is something,
which makes this place, really,
lovely........!!
the real place,
where i should actually be.....
truly.....!

You have described Paradise, and if it existed here on Earth, it would be doubly so. I guess I am too cynical to envision this world, since I am blinded by the way it is today. If everyone had your faith, your integrity, your energy -- maybe it would work. You are a beautiful light and I do not wish to dim that in any way. Hold your lamp high, Saumya, and maybe you can begin to change this world. Brava.

What do I wish ? What you wrote above is curious, it reminds me of and old argument I had with Brett, a friend I know from Middle School. He said he wants good for everyone, only goodness never badness.

I said why ? He said, isn't that what you want ? And I said - NO. It isn't. I wish - everyone to have a taste of a little bit of everything. The good, the bad, the crazy. For you cannot truly understand others until you have lived some of their life, suffered some of their pain, and known some of their sadness.

I am certainly not wishing misery on others, but I do want them to have - just a taste - of what might not be considered a perfect life, what might not be considered paradise, so they can fully understand and appreciate and wrap their arms COMPLETELY around GOOD when it does come to them. So it is not just taken for granted, or something they are expected to receive.

Absolute good without reason and without decision is no better to me than hell. I always - want to be able to make decisions about where I go and what I do in my life, for ecstacy or agony or insanity, it's my choice.
