Paint

Paint

A Poem by
"

Our canvased world..

"
Paint splatters the ground,
claiming it's territory,
making an unbreakable vow.
You'd think it were boasting proud.

And brushes stroke the walls,
quite silently around.
Telling the world,
there's more to say with colors,
than with letters.

The thin paper laid across the ceiling,
quietly peeling it's surface.
And the wind silently sings,
the melody of soothe healing;
The hum of eternal bliss.

A crisp white jacket lays on the ground,
mocking the jet black tiles, '
suffocating it's dark facade.
Everything contrasting;
like a black and white movie film.
Chemistry almost teasing.
No room for a casual mistakes.

A tinge of shade,
and a tint of texture.
Dye immersing the soft cloth.
Rainbows slowly fading out.

Our divine little stories,
become paintings,
on empty canvas'.
Swirls filling the minds,
of small children.

Let's color this world,
and paint our souls;
Hold your paint brush,
& begin your odyssey..

Nicely written! I like the message it gave out; the diversity of people on this Earth is what makes it such a 'colorful' place (well, that's what I got). I like the last few lines:
"Let's color this world,
and paint our souls;
Hold your paint brush,
& begin your odyssey.."

Very nicely done and written! I loved the first stanza and the description you gave. Especially the part about the paint splattering across the ground.

Let's color this world whether it be with true paint or the paint that emerges from our words to paint the lovely images we do with our poetry. A wonderful piece Twinkle.

A wonderful idea in your poem. Description and story made the words have purpose and reason. I like the ending. We need more people to draw and paint with kindness and love. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

"Let's color this world,
and paint our souls;
Hold your paint brush,
and begin your odyssey."

You can make a beautiful poem, that doesn't rhyme! AMAZING!
