Nature's Cure

Nature's Cure

A Poem by
"

About Nature's remedy towards life.

"
Thank you Sky, for letting me look up to you,
when all I could see was down.
Thank you Trees,
for shading me when I felt like dying,
for letting me lean on you,
when I was falling.
You too, Ground.
For staying up and sturdy;
not collapsing when I felt weary.
Maybe even you, Grass.
For staying green and glossy,
while I was stood dark and gloomy.
But, especially you Sunset,
for reminding me some things can be beautiful,
that there is enough light to find truth,
caught between all the lies.
My friend, Ocean.
You taught me the importance of dignity.
To keep reaching out,
and letting things float, while allowing others to sink.
Oh, but how could I forget you Moon?
You shone through my darkest nights,
and lit up my lonely fright.
You promised me another day,
while I wished an opposite fate.

Thank you,
Thank you for
curing my insecurities..

i think that i have probably read at least 40 poems about a persons love for nature and myself written at least half a dozen, however, you have put a unique slant on
every object of nature and almost personified each one. this is very cleverly written and the word choices are superb. i shall now share with you my double fudge chocolate chip cookies for writing such an elegant and beautiful poem.

Beautiful and nice twist at the end.. I love it.. the beauty that lives in all things does change our fate to the better if we just believe in it:)xx
