It hurts alot when people you love push you away when they are hurting. This poem describes it in my words.

Like Closed Doors

If you care for me enough

Then why don't you let me in?

 

I try and try so hard to make you happy

So hard to make you smile

Because that smile sends my heart flying.

 

Your sadness and pain

Are painful for my body and soul.

 

I want you to tell me things,

The things that bother you, the things that don't.

All things of every kind.

The things you long for and the things you desire.

 

Down to your sadness and depression

I want to know your once happy expressions.

Girl.. you have no idea how hard it is after the fact. I promise you.. whoever pushed you away.. will want you back.. but the problem is.. they might be too proud to try and get you back. I'm speaking from experience... Don't give up. Keep trying and never totally give up on this person. Eventually, he/she will need you. The poem was very easy to read. I enjoyed it very much. It means something to me since it spoke directly to me.. in a way I'm sure you did not mean.. but nevertheless.. here I am.. knowing the things I know.. feeling the things I feel.. and loving this poem for so many reasons..
