Voices In Dark
A Poem by Satish Verma
I should not have been
there, where I am now.
I should not have been there, where I am now. The destiny was unscrupulously quiet. Time goes in suspension when I don't see you in me. Flaunting the assets of dwarf generation, you kill the galaxy of stars brazenly. Paraplegia. You break the eggs in air to touch the placentae. Twirled. I ask the question, when your lips will drown in stoned Buddha? Out of reach, the honeybees fly towards the virgin trees.

Six poems I commented and the sixth I liked best. Is it strange I feel at home in the void, as if noble tengu can hear my voice and council me? What serenity I take from reality I drown inside my workshop within my dream. My life to sustain the dream. Mighty moon, hide this evil from me. Let my heart be shallow enough to wander forever in hapless bliss. To these promises, I add your name to my stump, where I wish to speak to you, one day, my friend. Thank you for writing something so powerful that it triggered all of these musings. Bravo.
