Irony Of Gist

Irony Of Gist

A Poem by Satish Verma
"

The finger and a ring― a story of bonhomie;

"
The finger and a ring―
a story of bonhomie;
if you live precariously.

Difficult when you are perceptively nimble.

I would like to take off―
any clinger.

If you live in a crate, ―
there is no escape.
The pollination has stopped.

The washed bees will not go anywhere―
in this rain.

The bumbler will strike
when you are eating the poem.
