Behind the Walls

Behind the Walls

A Poem by SofiaBeliever

Behind the walls lies isolation
Fear, depression, and loneliness are its guards
No eyes have seen, nor ears heard
What truly lies behind the walls
Inner sanctum of secrets and lies
A different mask for every day
Strongholds keep restoration far off
Reconciliation not in sight
Far away cries of brokenness
A ray of light shines hope
Into a desperate situation regaining strength
Hope for the weary
Lighten the load
 Release your burdens
Time to break out of this shell
