Chapter 3A Chapter by Sarah Elizabeth Landon
I woke up this morning feeling like P Diddy......Not really, i mean who wants to feel like a middle aged washed up black man? maybe its just me but iv never been one to get trendy Pop music. Cathy drove me to dance yesterday but because of her prepetually late running tennis games we had to get all the way from Sherman Oaks to Hollywood in 20 minutes. Anyone who knows anything at all about LA traffic knows this is basically impossible, but good old Cathy thinks shes a stunt driver and was convinced getting me there would not be a problem. As were driving Cathy is singing along to Tik Tok on the radio while simeltaniously cursing at a pool man driving in front of us when all of a sudden a police car pulls up behind us and starts flashing their lights. Cathy with her sterling driving record has issues believing this and thinks hes obviously signaling another car so she continues to drive, meanwhile im sitting there telling her to pull the f*****g car over so she dosn't get arrested for attempting to start a police chase. Cathy finally pulls over and is told she didn't make a complete stop at the stop sign, at this point im freaking out because there is no way in hell im going to make it to class in time, i thought that being as adorable as possible and telling the officer i had a very important audition to get to would get the ball rolling....well in fact it did, he tells Cathy hes not writing her a ticket and then asks me what my plans are after my audition and if id like to get some dinner...whats wrong with this picture? everything well we both start laughing and my mother looks at him and tells him im 16 two years short of being a legal adult, basically i get hit on by older men alot but a police officer was deffinitley a new one...and an even more illegal one for that matter.
