Chapter Numero DosA Chapter by Sarah Elizabeth Landon
I spent my day today working on homework for my british literature course reading Hamlet, well that's what my teacher thinks at least...when in reality im actually gathering all of my knowledge from a very handy thing called Sparknotes. Now let's not be nieve her people every single high school student uses this at least once, but most of us utilize it frequently. I mean who wants to read an entire Shakespeare play to awnser questions like "What would you say to your friend if they told you they were speaking to ghosts?" Now if i could really anwser this the way i wanted i would simply put it this way....Go seek help you can't speak to ghosts, unless you believe in all of that stuff which personally i don't but seeing as im so ridiculously blunt regardless of my friends views on the matter id just think they were crazy. I used this assignment to release some repressed anger towards my old best friend seeing as shes the craziest person i can think of...i mean common what sain teenage girl has a purity ring, dosn't swear, wakes up at 4 every morning to make a 3 hour commute to school, and is asleep by 7? A very very very strange crazy one thats who.
Did i mention its Cinco de Mayo? after studying i went to cardio barre to attempt to remove my friend Tina the talking tummy who lives on my stomach, this b***h won't leave me alone and frankly im reallyyyy over it. After 60 minutes of a wonderfully enthusiastic gay man screaming in my face over a headpiece and listening to horrible remixes of songs that were awful to begin with my muscles and Tina were ready for food....even though im a dancer i really enjoy ingesting ridiculous amounts of calories, which would explain Tina..oh well. Me a girlfriend and Cathy went to El Torito to enjoy some cheap mexican. I sat down in the midst of a hord of drunk 20 somethings who wouldnt even be able to count to 10 let alone spell their name correctly if they were asked. Between the screaming, Mariachi band, and the crying and vomiting....(yes im reffering to the adults around me not the adorable little kids) i couldn't even hear myself think which provided for some interesting covnersations that consisted of screaming across the table and the repeated use of the word "what". I decided to become a vegetarian on Monday but this was my first time eating out since then and resisting the temptation of beef tacos and chicken tamales was more then difficult, but by the end of it all me and my cheese enchiladas were more then happy. I felt pretty happy about my relativley healthy meal..well as healthy as mexican can be, til i found the nutritional information sheet on the side of the table...well it all went quickly downhill from there. Who knew two tiny enchiladas could contain 1675 calories....thats a days worth, so much for eating healthy. On my drive home i passed a store whos light up sign was a bit out of sorts...origionally saying beads & jewlery now said...beads & jew. Talk about politically incorrect and hilarious all at the same time. Of course Cathy the wasp proceeded to laugh histarically while my jewish friend was more then appauled, and then theres me the half breed. My mother's Catholic my father was Jewish so either way im screwed...YAY ME! Id go into everything about religion now but wed be here for hours and its currently almost 12 and i should probably be heading to bed. Well it was nice talking to you again, see you whenever i can get myself to do something productive.....
