Rain Washes Anew

Rain Washes Anew

A Poem by Sargon Dorsai
"

Inspired by my love of the rain.

"
The pitter patter of rain against glass
Rhythmically singing of nature's grace
Washing away that which has come to pass
Revealing anew a wonderous place.
Mixed tears that fall from clouds up above
Echoes of the memories of the year
Of life and of death, of sadness and love
Precious moments with those that we hold dear.
Facing the future, beginning anew
With all of our friends, at our side they stand
And those that have gone ahead that we knew
Leaving memories we keep close at hand.
Falling raindrops cascading on flowers
Through the rain we dance, the cleansing showers.
